Planning Ahead for Central’s Future
There are many ways to give to the Central High School Foundation, now or in your estate plan.
You may wish to consider one of the following options:
Bequests: For many donors, making a gift through your estate
is the most realistic way to provide a substantial contribution to
the CHS Foundation.
Gifts of Insurance/Retirement:
You can amend an existing insurance policy or retirement plan to name the CHS
Foundation as one of your beneficiaries.
Appreciated Securities: Your outright gift of long-term,
appreciated securities (stocks, mutual funds and bonds) is
exempt from capital gains taxes.
Gifts of Real Estate: You can make a gift of commercial or
residential real estate to the CHS Foundation and receive
substantial financial benefits.
Charitable Gift Annuity:
A gift annuity is a contract between the donor and the CHS Foundation that provides the donor a
guaranteed payment for life and a charitable income tax deduction. Deferred gift annuities are also available.
Charitable Remainder Trust: A charitable remainder trust
provides a lifetime income and a charitable income tax deduction.

Remember the Central High school Foundation in Your Estate Plan
There are many ways to remember the Central High School (CHS) Foundation in your
estate plan, only a few of which involve any expense or professional fees. You may
wish to name the CHS Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, living trust, life
insurance policy, or pension plan.
Let us show you how to create a trust which will pay an annual income to the CHS
Foundation for a period of years prior to distributing the principal to your
children or grandchildren. The income the Foundation receives will create a charitable estate tax
deduction for you.
There are many ways to benefit the CHS Foundation through planned gifts, some of
which will provide you with positive benefits during your lifetime.
By remembering the CHS Foundation, we will be able to continue the tradition of
outstanding education at Central High School.
